Noni: I came upon him in a similar state before… desired by women. They flocked to the man like groupies to a tour bus and however naively, I had been one of them over four years ago. A vulnerable place sent me to vacation in Aspen and it had been Asa who found me, made me moan, made me forget and I didn’t come away from that vacation unchanged. He gave me the most wonderful little blessing I could ever receive, my son Jalen.

He never called me, though. After an amazing weekend, he left my mind to wonder. Hurt, I deleted his number and vowed to never think about him again. It was only later I discovered I was pregnant and now that Asa seems to suddenly be back in my life, I have to figure out how to tell him something very important. I have his son.

And I never forgot his father.

    It's really boring. Good story line though. Characters talk to themselves more than talking to each other. There should be two parts past and present. In the middle of the conversation the characters start to think about the past. And that's why I feel that they think too much instead of talking. I skipped so many chapters and still easily able to understand what was going on.

    To be honest this writer touches sickness base like there is no tomorrow. Eventually happily ever after seems to be worked hard for. It is refreshing style of writing to those who wallow in sickness route. For me personally nope, I have enough of that in my plate to live it and read it all the time. But it’s a good read.

    This was a fabulous read I love, 💕 love 💕 it, love 💕 it. Everyone has drama and crazy people in your life but the way you handle it tells if you have grown up or not. It took Asa and Noni a minute to figure it out but then they pull up their adult pants and showed it to themselves and everyone else. I can see myself reading this again.

    So excited to finally have Noni and Asa's story. It was so filled with angst and self doubt on both of their parts. The story did drag some and it was a lil frustrating at time because it seems if they just got outta their own way, it wouldn't have seemed so repetitive. Other than that, I loved how Asa and Noni realize they deserved to be happy and when they got it....cue all the feels. Oh, and here's to hoping Willa and Seth gets a story🤞🏽

    It was an OK read for me. Somewhat longwinded and too much internal monologue from the characters.

    The story itself is really good once you get past the wordy chapters.
